This page records where the sponsor check figures come from, what is deliberately excluded, and what to do if you think a number is wrong.
Where the data comes from
Every figure is counted from the US Department of Labor PERM disclosure files. DOL publishes those files itself for public use. No login, no licence and no permission is involved. The work here is reading them and making them searchable.

What is deliberately left out
The source file carries a great deal that is not shown here. Addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, FEINs and attorney names are all in the original and none of them are published.
Private individuals are excluded. PERM is not only for companies. When a household sponsors a caregiver, a nanny or a home health aide, the employer name in the file is simply a person's name. Those names are the only personal data in the set, so 3,908 such employers are excluded and cannot be found here.
A registered company is never excluded, however few staff it reports. A company has no private life to protect. A person does.
Worker detail is withheld for small groups. Occupation, worksite state and median wage describe the sponsored worker, not the employer. Where an employer filed fewer than 5 Bangladeshi cases those three fields are not shown, because together they identify one particular person to anyone who knows them, even with no name attached.
What the tool does not tell you
- It does not show the visa category. PERM comes before the category is chosen, so the file does not carry it.
- Country of citizenship exists for FY2020 to FY2024 only. DOL's revised form dropped that column, so the Bangladeshi figures stop there.
- It does not judge any employer. What is here is a record of filings, not a verdict on anyone.
- It is not legal advice.
If you think a number is wrong
Mistakes are possible. Tell us which employer and which year, and the figure will be rechecked against the original DOL workbook.
- If a figure turns out to be wrong it is corrected, and the correction is recorded rather than hidden.
- Nothing is quietly deleted. Corrections are published.
- If you are an individual and find your own name here, say so and it will be removed.

This is volunteer work. There are no advertisements, nothing is sold and no money is taken from anyone. This site is not affiliated with any government agency, any law firm, or any employer named in it.
