Articles

Where an article gives a figure, its source is linked next to it or below. Wherever possible the figure comes from a government document or the original publisher. Every article shows when it was published and last updated. Older pieces may rest on older information, so check the date.

Videos

The video pages are built automatically from the Bangla Vibes YouTube channel. Titles, descriptions and images come from YouTube. Any part of a description holding personal contact details (phone, email and so on) or the channel's standard links is not shown here. What a video says reflects the day it was made; rules may have changed since.

Tools

Each tool page names its data source and when it was read. Tool results are estimates and are not a statement about any person or company.

The employer check data

The figures come from the PERM Disclosure files that the US Department of Labor publishes for everyone.

In the original files but not shown here:

• Addresses, phone numbers, emails, FEINs and attorney names.
• Employers who are individuals rather than companies (for example a family sponsoring a caregiver). 3,908 such names are left out.
• Job title, state and wage where an employer has fewer than 5Bangladeshi cases, because those details could point to a particular person.

The tool shows what the government file contains and nothing more. It does not call any company good or bad.

Reporting a mistake

Mistakes can happen. Message the Facebook page with what is wrong and the source for the correct information.

• It will be checked against the original source.
• If it is wrong, it will be fixed and the page's updated date will change.
• If you are an individual and find your name or details here, say so and they will be removed.
